NA 025 Colour Standards Committee

The Colour Standards Committee (FNF) within DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. is responsable for the development of basic DIN standards in the following areas - methods for the metrological description of perception of colour and of colour difference as well as for general applications as well as with the focus on optimisation of production costs - safety in signalling and traffic - dedicated terminology - applications in colour teaching and learning, for systematic classification systems on perceptionnally equal spaced colours and conditions for visual colour matching. The Colour Standards Committee (FNF) coordinates the German representation in the European (CEN) and international standardisation bodies (ISO) as well as in the International Commission of Lighting (CIE).
